Reversoz didn’t start with a whitepaper it started with a spark.

It began from a shared love for the culture and chaos of Web3 which led to the birth of Lazy Apes in August of 2022; a wild degen parody project made up of 10,000 hand drawn bearded characters. It sold out in just two weeks, but what followed was far from ordinary.

Most digital collectibles begin with original art and later inspire parody spin offs. We reversed that entire model starting with parody and evolving into original, premium art. That bold reversal didn’t just define our journey it gave birth to something new. That’s how the Reversoz came to life.

Trait groups formed organically. Thousands of hours of Twitter Spaces and podcasts were hosted. A real community emerged; one that wasn’t just collecting, but building. Lazy Apes became the most successful parody project in digital collectibles, generating over $4 million in resale volume and inspiring hundreds of creators along the way. We rewarded our holders with exclusive free claims for Halloween and Christmas collectibles across the years 2022 and 2023 that still hold value and meaning today. Then came The MEGA, our first glimpse of what was next. 

Every holder of a Lazy Ape token has been offered a free and voluntary transformation: a chance to upgrade their Lazy Ape into a new piece of art under a fresh smart contract with IP rights.
